Off the back of a previous successful working relationship, Ilex Project Management once again enlisted the expertise of Spatial Environments to help deliver the design vision of illustrious interior designers, Lister Carter.
The project this time was a premium refurbishment contract to transform the interior of the Highwayman Inn, Kirby Lonsdale, with a set budget and a very tight time schedule.
Working closely with Lister Carter, we helped create and source several bespoke items. This included the creation of polished copper topped poser tables for the bar area; a set of bespoke fabrics for the seating refurbishment and a beautifully designed bespoke light fixture. All these elements blended together seamlessly to create a unique, country chic look and feel for the high end gastro pub restaurant.
The refurbishment also included the reclamation of 68 chairs and 30 tables. The chairs were stripped, sanded down, re-polished, reupholstered and made good of any damages. The tables were made good of any defects, sanded down and re-polished before being redelivered in immaculate condition. The owners were pleased with the end results as they could no longer tell what was new and what was reclaimed.
Spatial delivered the project within budget and on time ready for the owner’s scheduled big reveal and opening event. The project was a very rewarding collaboration which resulted in a wonderful pub environment for everyone to enjoy.
